Join the talented Renee Mueller as she shares her process for creating expressive portraits and colorful flowers. Throughout the summer, she gathered bouquets for her home and spent countless hours drawing and painting them, immersing herself in a floral practice that naturally evolved into her signature style. In this course, students are encouraged to fill their sketchbooks or art journals with drawings, color palettes, and explorations that help them truly see the shapes, forms, and lines of flowers while discovering their own creative voice.
Flowers often find their way into Renee’s artwork, especially alongside her portraits. Portraiture is her favorite subject, and she enjoys guiding students through this rewarding yet challenging process. In this class, Renee leads a step-by-step journey as students draw three different portraits, building confidence and skill along the way.
Renee believes deeply in the power of practice and encourages creatives to embrace it as a vital part of artistic growth. Through consistent exploration, students begin to develop a unique and authentic style of their own. This course is overflowing with projects and creative possibilities, offering a generous look inside Renee’s studio, her techniques, and her creative approach.
This class is for all levels!
